Holistic Foot Reflexology for Urban Professionals
Not mass-produced. Not trend-driven.
A structured, anatomy-based reflexology method
designed to restore physical resilience and mental clarity.
Developed and practiced in Japan. What I Offer

I offer a comprehensive foot reflexology session model
that integrates physical treatment, emotional regulation, and reflective dialogue
—recognizing the feet as a living map
that mirrors the whole person’s body, mind, and inner state.
This is not a quick relaxation service,
but a 120-minute therapeutic session
designed for people who carry long-term responsibility in
both their work and personal lives.
My Method

My method is based on American-style reflexology
and combines anatomical understanding
with plant-based therapeutic oils.
A standard session consists of:
【Introduction】
30 minutes — consultation, foot bath, and selection of essential oil blend
【Treatment】

60 minutes — reflexology treatment, including energetic finishing work
【Feedback & Rest Time】
30 minutes — post-session feedback with herbal tea
Each step is intentionally structured
to help clients recognize subtle changes
in both body and mind.
Current Focus

Alongside my current 120-minute practice, I am refining an ongoing, integrative care model that considers the body, mind, and everyday life as interconnected.
Depending on each client’s needs, readiness, and circumstances, a session may draw on bodywork, reflective dialogue, aromatherapy, herbal support, and other reflective tools. The aim is not to include every element in every session, but to choose what is most appropriate, observe changes over time, and support continuity of care.
Why It Works for Urban Professionals

Many urban professionals experience stress
that cannot be resolved by physical treatment alone.
This method addresses:
- physical fatigue caused by long working hours
- mental overload and decision fatigue
- the need for a safe, non-judgmental space to pause and reflect
The combination of touch, dialogue, and time
creates effects that continue beyond the session itself.
Where This Method Is Most Needed
For Those Working Across Cultures and Expectations

This model is particularly relevant in environments
where high performance and multicultural contexts
create layered stress patterns,
such as global cities.
Possible applications include:
- premium wellness salons
- therapist training and education programs
- private sessions for executives and caregivers

About the Practitioner

I am Megumi Nakagawa, an independent holistic care practitioner and the founder of Green Garden in Aichi, Japan.
Since 2000, I have worked across reflexology and other forms of bodywork, aromatherapy, herbal care, therapeutic education, and reflective dialogue.
My work has been shaped through years of supporting people who carry responsibility for families, teams, and organizations—people who care deeply for others, yet often find it difficult to show their own fatigue or vulnerability.
Collaboration Models
I am open to collaboration in the following forms: - professional dialogue and knowledge exchange
- therapist education and small-group workshops
- co-creation of culturally appropriate care programs
- short-term visiting practitioner opportunities
